What is Obamacare?

Obamacare, officially the Affordable Care Act (ACA), is a comprehensive health care reform law enacted in 2010 that aims to increase health insurance coverage for the uninsured and reform the health insurance market. It does this by implementing various measures, including subsidies to lower costs, ensuring coverage for pre-existing conditions, and creating a marketplace where individuals can purchase health insurance.
